Absolutely fantastic company. Simon and his trainee came out to us after just over an hour after we had sewage coming up our drain. Despite it being... at the end of the day, and a right old mess, Simon and his assistant were cheerful and informative and even though we had probably got them home late they did not make us feel like an inconvenience at all, they literally couldn't do enough to help. Absolutely fantastic business to use. I couldn't recommend more highly, very reasonable too, and they have the all the best equipment ( we had already tried to fix it ourselves with drain rods). Just had an engineer from Rapid Repair to a blocked drain in my garden and the service was excellent throughout. The call centre booked me in quickly... and the engineer was very thorough and knowledgeable, explaining everything as he went along. He was a lovely man too, very friendly, which was reassuring as a woman in the house alone. He got everything up and running again within a very short time and gave me some advice on how to contact Yorkshire Water to try and resolve the underlying issues he’d found, at no further cost to us if it’s Yorkshire Waters responsibility.Highly recommend these guys!!read more

Has all the high... tech equipment but charges a fraction of the big companies prices. Have used him on a couple of occasions and never fails. We booked Simon to perform a drain mapping on a 1906 semi-detached house that we are currently renovating. We didn't want a complete drain survey... drawn up, just depth and direction marked up on the ground with spray paint. He was recommended by another drain specialist who didn't have the equipment to do this particular work.He arrived on time; we even received a text message beforehand with an estimated time of arrival allowing us to track his location.Simon was very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything as he worked. The equipment he used was kept very clean and organised. I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself so this was good to see.As part of the job he located a Buchan Trap at the end of the driveway and we could clearly see on the CCTV that this must have recently got blocked and was backed up with water (good job I booked him when I did). He managed to get the water jet out and clear this blockage very quickly in order to allow him to continue the mapping.Additionally, part of the mapping he was performing was under a large pile of rubble that was on the driveway. He helped me to shovel this out of the way also to allow him to continue the work. I definitely wasn't expecting him to help with this but really pleased that he did. Thank you.I also discussed with him about replacing the existing drainage pipe work as part of the house renovations but he said that the pipes were in good condition and suggested having them lined instead with fibre glass as an alternative way to save time and money. He even showed me samples of pipes that had been lined. This is definitely something I will consider in the future.The job was very well priced and only took 75 minutes. After the work was complete I received an email (whilst he was still on site) containing an invoice, photos and a video documenting the work that had been done.Before booking this job I was considering hiring the equipment and trying to do the work myself but now having seen the work done and the various equipment used I am so glad that paid a professional. It was so much quicker and cheaper than what I could have done.Obviously, I cannot speak for his other work but I suspect that it is also carried out with great professionalism. I therefore wouldn't hesitate to call him again.Thank you Simon.read more

Fantastic service from Simon, we had a blockage which turned out in then end to be Yorkshire Water's responsibility, we called quite a few private... plumbers prior to finding this out and Simon stood out for his professionalism and how he gave up his time to advise us on the issue over the phone. He went through what the possible issue could be, and even advised that we get Yorkshire Water out so that we could determine if it was a private issue or one that he would have to attend. Amazing company. Simon came out to do some lining work on my drains, after previously having a survey and quote from another company who didn’t seem... very good. The other company didn’t inform me that the drains were the responsibility of Yorkshire water. However, Simon informed me straight away that I shouldn’t be paying for the work as it was up to Yorkshire water. This was a big job and he could have just done it, taken the money and I would have been none the wiser. Due to Simon’s honesty and knowledge, we have saved thousands. If you are looking for a reliable, honest company to complete any drainage work, this is the one. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them if I needed any drainage work in the future! Also, the price quoted based on the survey I had was very reasonable.read more
